 6. How often should I change the rubber water pump impeller?

Under normal running conditions, we recommend removing and inspecting the
impeller annually and replacing it when it is worn or damaged or every other year.
If you run your boat aground or have experienced an overheat of any type, remove
and inspect the impeller immediately. A spare impeller and gasket and tools to remove
it carried on-board is highly recommended.
